Don’t know a Lug nut from a peanut? Lug nuts are what hold the wheel in place, it is a fastener that holds the wheel on a car or truck. There are also lug bolts but both have the common purpose of keeping the wheel on the axels. One would remove lug nuts in order to change the tire. Usually there are about four lug nuts per wheel. The biggest pain in lug nuts is the removal for some they can be so tightened that it is impossible to get off. Lug nuts are removed with a lug, socket or wrench. Learning to change a tire is a skill everyone should learn. It is not difficult and could get you out of a jamb.
